Class and Workbox Info

To ensure your place in class, please register and pay in advance as soon as possible. Preparing class kits for those who sign up late is time consuming and inefficient for our instructors.

Bring scissors, tape runner, or adhesive and foam tape. Optional to bring: paper trimmer and a scoring board. You may find the following items to be useful as well: bone folder, black marker, glue stick, small water color brush or water brush, ruler, craft knife and mat, and white craft glue.

Check the supply list in the class descriptions before coming to class. Remember to bring your workbox to every class or club. For your convenience, all workbox items to make your work easier are available at A Small Cleverness. You will find glues, adhesives, trimmers, and much more at competitive prices.

Please refrain from wearing any kind of scented product in the shop if you are a shopper or you are taking a class. It is very objectionable to those with sensitive noses and/or health conditions. Please turn cell phones off during class. Cell phone conversations are not allowed. Please step outside to check messages or to make calls. Please arrive on time. Don’t forget your glasses. Thanks for your consideration.

Refunds for class fees can only be made if a class is canceled 48 hours in advance for local instructors. Refunds will be given for out-of-town instructors if cancelation is made one week in advance.

If you have been wanting to learn Copic coloring but didn’t want to invest in a large number of markers in the beginning, this may be the class for you.

We will start with a very limited number of markers — three or four. We will try to build on this number in future classes. For those of you that already have a number of markers, we will try to use some colors we didn’t use in previous classes. The coloring will be very basic — mostly blending techniques. We will also color only two fairly simple shapes.

Please join us no matter your experience level. It’s fun to color just for fun! Ask at A Small Cleverness for the marker list. Bring workbox.

Security Envelope Pocket Page Book

$36.00

Recycle and create a really cute handmade pocket page book using security envelopes. In order to complete the class in a timely manner, you will need to prepare your pages ahead of the class date. Details will be available when you sign up for the class. In the meantime, open your security envelopes carefully by cutting across the top fold with a letter opener or a Xacto knife and save the ones with the interesting patterns inside for the class. I have already collected quite a few which I can share as well, but don’t depend on me for the entire book. You will need 20 for the inside pages and several to decorate the cover. Bring your workbox with a good glue stick and a paper trimmer (a small one will be fine).
